On the MyREADY Transition™ CHD App, click on “Forgot Password” and answer the security question. Type in the email address that you have used previously and click “submit” to receive your details via email.
The Study Research Assistant may be able to answer your question. If you still have questions, you can click on info@myreadychd.app to send us a message with your question. Our team will answer within 48 hours.
Each visit in the App is meant to be completed only one time, and in a certain order. If you want to learn more about a topic or go back to review what you have learned, you can go to the BULLETIN BOARD where you will find the resources you have worked on so far.
The MyREADY Transition™ CHD App is for young people...
• who are 16 or 17 years old.
• with moderate or complex Congenital Heart Disease.
• who are thinking about being more independent in taking charge of their own care.
For now, the App is only available to youth who are participating in the ReadyorNot™ CHD Study
We hope that you will have fun playing and learning in the App. We're here to provide any support you need to use the App. It’s okay if you choose not to complete all the visits in the App. Remember that you do not have to be in the study. It’s your choice if you want to participate. If you change your mind about the study, that’s okay. You can tell your parent/caregiver or the Study Research Assistant. It will not change the medical care you receive.
You earn coins as you make your way through the visits in the App, watching videos, reading information, completing challenges and quizzes. At the end of each section you will see that you have earned more coins. You can use the coins to play games in the Arcade zone (GAME ROOM) in The Lounge.
Every time you complete a visit in the App, new accessories are unlocked to help you customize your mentor. You can find them anytime in the WARDROBE.
When we created the visits in the App, we wanted to make sure you had some time between each visit to think about the lessons, talk with others about what you've learned and maybe even try out some of the things in real life. The clock (TIMER) tells you how much time is remaining before you can access the next visit. While you wait, we hope you will explore the city (you may click on some hidden surprises) and use your coins to play games in the Arcade.
You can click on the [speaker icon] beside the mentor text to turn the mentor’s voice on or off. You can also make this change in Settings.
The mentor has different voices for customizing. Isn’t that cool? To change the mentor’s voice, go to Settings and select another voice from the list: Salli, Kimberly, Kendra, Joanna, Ivy, Matthew, Justin or Joey...
And remember, the voice of the mentor can only be played if you are connected to the Internet.
During any visit, at the top of the screen, you will always see a status bar to tell you how much of that visit you have already finished. To know where you are in your entire Journey, go to the TROPHY CASE to see how many Trophies and Plaques you have earned in MyCity. If you are just starting, don’t worry, the Mentor will be by your side to help you make your way through the MyREADY Transition™ CHD App.
You can find the "Past, Present and Future" on the BULLETIN BOARD once you complete the "The Give and Take" visit in the App. Click on the “send by email” button [envelope] and enter your email address so you can open the information on a computer connected to a printer.
